ReviewsSichuan Gong Fu Hong Cha - Black TeaThis tea has such a lovely fragrance when you open the package! The combination of malt and floral notes is intriguing. The tea brews a beautiful amber color. We made it two ways: English style with milk (no sugar) and modified gongfu (less leaves than we would normally use in a gaiwan, brewed for 1 minute). Both ways were delightful. This is definitely not a gulping tea! Youll want to let it sit on your tongue for a while and let the flavors develop. Not as intense as, say, a Keemun, but so enjoyable in its own way.

White Chrysanthemum - Herbal TeaGiving a refreshing and floral taste, recommend to brew with honey to add sweet taste to your tea. Chrysanthemum is a good herb in decrease body heat, while Honey is valuable natural resource that played a role as a therapeutic treatment for many internal and external ailments. It is not only tea for enjoyment but also good for health !

Bi Luo Chun Hong Cha - Black TeaSmoky with a sweet undertaste. Easy to use too much, when it overpowers. Not like the pure gold or the black gold at all, even though levaes from the same bushes are used. I am going to experiment with infusing different ways.

Lan Gui Ren - Oolong Teathis is a nice addition to anyones tea stash... i enjoy to try combining similar teas and varying quantities, the Lan Gui Ren brings a slightly sweet aftertaste to this... i dont enjoy it straight as it becomes more of a sweetened beverage since the licorice and ginseng overpower the tea.. i great to mix with the green wu long teas...

Da Hong Pao - Oolong TeaI run an international homestay in America. One of my Chinese students once gave me a gift, it was a package of Da Hong Pao. I loved it so much that I decided to order it myself. I feel that your Da Hong Pao is delicious and as described. It has a flowery aroma and after taste. My husband also likes it. The tea makes me feel good!! Thank you for this delicious tea.

Lao Cong Shui Xian - Oolong TeaA very pleasant tea, but not one I'm finding particularly memorable. I could easily see myself buying it again but I could just as easily see myself not. I'd recommend it to people but not as a must have.

Jun Shan Yin Zhen - Yellow TeaI had a hard time leaving this aside for special occasions, but you have to. Its such a wonderful, delicate tea.

Jun Shan Yin Zhen - Yellow TeaGood price for the quality. Not too smoky like other native bush JSYZ we have had. Nice thick amino taste but not much complexity otherwise. Good for 3 infusions. Processed a bit on the green side of the yellow.

Te Ji Da Hong Pao - Oolong TeaThis tea is jet black and has a highly roasted quality - almost sooty. I think this is where the coffee references come from. Having said that the taste is still very smooth and rounded. Its a rich Oolong for sure. The flavours are very well balanced. All DHPs will taste different of course but I suspect this one would be described as "different" owing to its dark roasted character. Perhaps this is the "traditional" aspect (?). It really does taste good though and I cant see anyone being disappointed with this tea. I love it and will brew it when trying to convert friends to the "Oolong way". This is the 4th type of DHP I have tried and I think its my favourite - especially given the price!

Lan Gui Ren - Oolong TeaThis tea was what I expected and more. I could not discern if the sweetness was from the licorice or ginseng. I could not taste both, but the sweetness is what I desired in the aftertaste. What surprised me was the amount of times I could steep the leaves and still have acceptable flavour. I would highly recommend this tea.

Cha Wang Tai Ping - Green TeaThis is just lovely green tea. There is a nuttiness and a slightly floral undertone. Not very vege or grassy for green tea. The true beauty is in the silky smoothness of this green nectar. It is truly more than the sum of its parts.
