ReviewsBi Tan Piao Xue - Green TeaThis is an absolutely wonderful tea. For a long time I was really turned off my jasmine tea because of the poor quality of the tea leaves. This tea, however, is quite exceptional. Very fragrant and tastes wonderful. I feel like I'm back in a Chinese teahouse again.

En Shi Yu Lu - Green TeaI found a steamed Yu Lu in Tao of Tea in Portland many years ago and have been looking for another Yu Lu since. I don't like the earthy taste but prefer a sweeter taste without the earthy after taste, This Yu Lu is an excellent tea, with a sweet after taste. I usually drink only Imperial Dragon Well (Imperial Garden - San Francisco - Roy Fong) and this is a excellent and less expensive substitute.

Huang Shan Mao Feng - Green Teauring brewing the leaves immediately sink to the bottom of the cup which is usually an indication that it is an old crop of tea which has not been stored properly. As the harvest period was the Spring of 2011, this must just be characteristic of this tea. I have tasted better tea from An Hui Province, so this is just a mediocre tea.

Jin Yin Hua - Herbal TeaNot my favorite herbal tea. Smells nothing like fresh honeysuckle. these are flower bulbs, not yet bloomed.

Tai Ping Hou Kui - Green TeaIt doesn't get much better than this in green tea. Huge but delicate leaves were brewed in Gaiwan for 2 minutes. Sweet flavor keeps on going in a long finish. Outstanding.

Te Ji Organic Da Hong Pao - Oolong TeaExcellent; absolute value for money. Tones of dark chocolate; remembrance of the forest after rain. My favourite!

Te Ji Pearl Jasmine - Green TeaA very nice Jasmine tea. The aroma was not as pungent as expected. Nice silky mouth feel rounded by a good flavor.

Gui Hua Oolong - Oolong TeaI like this tea. However, the gui hua (osmathus flowers) tend to be a little overpowering so I tend to drink this by the mug rather than in the smaller pots (lau ren) style.

Bai Ji Guan - Oolong TeaA very unique oolong. Actually, more similar to green tea. Floral, fruity flavour. Suprisingly, it could last a lot of infusion. Way above my expectations.

Bai Hao Oolong - Oolong TeaGood oolong with light fruit taste. It looks very nice when its dry.

Huang Jin Gui - Oolong TeaAs always, fragrant and very enjoyable. This batch is a bit less exotic; more like a good Ti Kuan Yin, but no less delightful. Like most Oolong, the rolled-up leaves require fairly hot water, and unroll to take up a lot of volume.

Emperor Long Jing - Green TeaThe first serious green tea I've ever tried. A very pleasing, complicated bouquet, somewhere between spicy and fruity. It has a warming, full flavour, perhaps even rich. The second infusion remains warm, palatable and pleasing.

Bi Luo Chun Hong Cha - Black TeaA very nice, basic black tea. The leaves are tightly rolled into snail shell shapes, which makes the tea very compact. A good malty morning tea, it also has very distinct chocolate notes. Other online stores sell this exact same tea but for $1 or $2 more per 100g, usually calling it something like "Yunnan Downy" or "Golden Pekoe" or something like that. Same tea, but cheaper from ChineseTeaArt.

2005 Xiaguan Jinsi Raw Tuo Cha - Pu-erh TeaThis is a delicious young Puer. I would give it four and a half stars because of it's extremely appealing flavor; a hint of smokiness but also smooth with hints of fruit, and lasts many brews. It's simple and really good, great to drink now or save.

Ying De Hong Cha - Black TeaThis tea was ordered on behalf of a friend who likes black tea, however that told me it was very enjoyable, so I decided to rate it anyway

Keemun Hong Cha - Black TeaI am not a great fan of black tea. This keemun tastes too strong for me. It lacks the delicacy of a green tea, or the aroma of a oolong. Its a good cup of tea, but simple not that good. Even for a black tea.

2011 Gao Li Gong Shan Raw Mini Tuo Cha - Pu-erh TeaA wonderful puerh. Exceptional clean taste, beautiful flavor profile and wonderful aroma. A tea that delights the senses. The chi is very strong, expansive and uplifting.

Sichuan Gong Fu Hong Cha - Black TeaMy mind boggles at how tasty this is. Like malty pancake syrup with a cocoa aftertaste and sometimes even notes of caramel. Faint notes of wood, toasted bread and pepper occasionally pop up. Its smooth with a silky and round mouthfeel. Truly fantastic - I will be buying this in the large size!
