ReviewsHuang Jin Gui - Oolong TeaThis is my first oolong that I tasted. The taste is very delicious, mild and fresh. Up to five infusions are enjoyable.

Jun Shan Yin Zhen - Yellow TeaThis is a top quality yellow tea. The leaves are slightly greenish yellow and it brews to a beautiful yellow color. It has a complex taste, starting sweet and ending on an earthy or slightly smoky note. This makes it a pleasure to drink as one tends to pay attention as each mouthful runs through a sequence of subtle tastes each offering contrast to highlight the other. One has the sense while handling the leaves and preparing it, as also while drinking it, that one is handling something precious which, considering the rarity of authentic Jun Shan Yin Zhen, one truly is.

Bai Hao Yin Zhen - White TeaThis is one of my favorites off this site so far. The dry leaves have a smell that is reminiscent of fresh pine. The taste of the liquor makes my mouth water when I recall it, fresh and lightly sweet with a hint of grassiness. I have this almost every day, and sometimes multiple times a day. I will definitely order this tea again when my stock runs out.

Rou Gui - Oolong TeaI love the aroma of this tea. After having it in the morning for about a week, I have a hard time starting the day with out it. I let it infuse for longer than most other teas as it only seems to improve the taste.

Qin Hua Ci - Whiteness Porcelain Tea SetI was very pleased with the tea set. I bought one for me and 2 to give away. Shipping arrived timely and in great condition. the teas are very good and serving tea in the tea pot is a "conversation piece"

Da Hong Pao - Oolong TeaThis tea was a little too strong in flavor for me although I don't mind the smell. This would be a good tea for those who prefer a strong oolong.

2005 Xiaguan Jinsi Raw Tuo Cha - Pu-erh Tea(disclaimer: pu-erh newbie!) I love this tea. The flavor is deep with a hint of sweetness, surprisingly good for how young it is. It makes multiple delicious infusions. I'm going to buy a couple more of these to hang onto. My only "problem" with this tea is that it's so tightly compressed, I can barely break off any pieces! Not really a problem though.

Lan Gui Ren - Oolong TeaI didn't love this one. Liquorice, orchids, ginseng and oolong are all good, but maybe not rolled into one neat little package in my teacup. I liked the scent, which was incense-like, more than the taste.

Bai Ji Guan - Oolong TeaFor a moment, i taught the labels was switched and i had on my hands a leaf from the phoenix mountain. I observed 5-6 consistent brews. Alternatively, it is evident that much more enjoyment can be obtained. To fully appreciate this tea, some skill in preparation is required. I would have liked to taste it from the hands of a master and enjoy the cock strut through brews with others of similar passion. On certain observations, i reminiscent a fisted oolong from Mae Salong which i tasted earlier this year. Oh, Deja Vu.

Lao Cong Shui Xian - Oolong TeaThis is very dark oolong. The fruity notes of younger shuixian are almost gone. Nice chocolate and vanilla subtle flavor though. A real mineral quality is there- rocky. This might sound bad but a dirty flavor is there too. good tea.

Traditional Tie Guan Yin - Oolong TeaFresh jasmine aroma. Gentle salty/sweet flavour. Very good for multiple infusions. Even a fourth infusion is pleasant.

Te Ji Tie Guan Yin - Oolong TeaThe aftertaste is fresh and very pleasant. It seems to be less "oily" than many other Tie Guan Yin. If you had a poor Tie Guan Yin last time you should go for this one. It will show you a field of flowers and vegetables - always fresh and light, never oily and flat.

Lao Cong Shui Xian - Oolong TeaRich, full-bodied, woodsy, smokey, mineral or rocky taste, with a nice medium fragrance. Although this LCSH is quite strong, it is still very smooth and sweet. It has a very classic "old-school" Wu Yi oolong taste profile because of the heavy oxidation. I could also taste the subtle cooling menthol-like qualities of old tea leaves. Great product!

Gui Hua Oolong - Oolong TeaThis tea is a delightful specimen. A great tasting Osmanthus Oolong. At the same time exquisite and complex. The combination using osmanthus petals are not quite as perfumed as your regular jasmine teas. This brings forth the great taste of the Oolong.

Tie Luo Han - Oolong TeaThis is one the more expensive Wu YI oolongs offered by ChineseTeaArt, and I understand why. It is one the best. Extremely smooth, full-mouthfeel, and very sweet. To me, I tasted chocolate and smelled vanilla notes. This TLH is going to be one my favorite oolongs! Highly recommended!

Jun Shan Yin Zhen - Yellow TeaThis is the second batch of Jun Shun Yin Zhen i will have had this year, one of my favorite yellow teas. I find the first infusion has a beautiful sweetness to it, similar although not as strong as say the taste of a fine bai lin gong fu, but less green as in mao jian. From the 2nd infusion onwards the tea obtains a beautiful and light smoky taste that lasts well into the 4th infusion. A quality, delicate tea that actually outlasts many stronger green teas over multiple infusions.

Gui Hua Oolong - Oolong TeaThis is an excellent tea! The taste of Osmanthus is well balanced, so it doesn't overtaste the superb Oolong tea. Very refreshing.

Da Hong Pao - Oolong TeaA beautiful orange brew with a deep, smooth, slightly sweetish taste. There is just a hint of smoke that gives substance without being disturbing to people (like me) who do not like smoky flavour. It should be brewed very briefly, only 15-20 seconds in the Yixin pot. It yields very many excellent brewings.

Bai Hao Oolong - Oolong TeaA truly unique tea, at least to this novice taster. Pre-steeped, the leaves have a sweet, molasses-like smell. Very pleasant. Once brewed the odor is closer to a light Darjeeling, or maybe an English Evening tea blend. The flavor is similar to these also, only a bit sweeter and more mild, with more depth, with less astringency. Highly enjoyable!
