ReviewsKeemun Hong Cha - Black TeaVery sweet fragrance. I think it is a good introduction to black tea.

Emperor Long Jing - Green TeaThis tea is wonderful. I've looked in tea shops throughout the NY/NJ area, including "Chinatown", and can't find anything that comes close!

An Ji Bai Cha - Green TeaHas very nice aroma but taste seems to be not as strong as previous years. Need more tea leaves to produce the same strength.

Huang shan Chrysanthemum - Herbal TeaMaybe my favorite drink ever. The chrysanthemum blossoms look so beautiful in a glass teapot. It tastes floral (as you would expect) and is mildly sweet.

2007 Menghai Daye Ripe Loose-leaf - Pu-erh TeaMy first puerh seems to be the last..My taste will not acomodate with this kind of dusty tee. Still...adding brown sugar, the taste becomes "interesting".. at most! I will explore another tea area..

Keemun Hong Cha - Black TeaThis tea is mildly tannic and has a slight smoky quality which is a little out of character for keemun tea. In he tasting we undertook, this tea was one of a selection of varieties of keemun and this was not the best of them. It is however an excellent tea for everyday consumption and care should be taken not to make it too strong.

Liu An Gua Pian - Green TeaThis has been one of my favorite teas over the last couple of years. It has a light, sweet vegetal flavor. The flowery aroma is similar to greenish Tie Guan Yin, though it's a bit milder. Slightly nutty taste, but not grassy. Easy to brew (rarely gets bitter) and an excellent value.

Emperor Long Jing - Green TeaThe leaf sets of this long jing are really stunning in form and color. The aroma is fresh and vibrant. This really is a very nice long jing. I find that in addition to using enough leaf, the tea desires a longer brewing time and a hotter temperature to elicit its full delicious flavor.

White Chrysanthemum - Herbal TeaThe quality of chrysanthemum was good. I bought it through CTA because I haven't find a retailer that sells chrysanthemum in the Pacific Northwest.

Ba Bao Cha - Herbal TeaPerhaps I'm just too used to drinking my tea plain, but this was much too sweet for my tastes. I agree that it is probably something that non-drinkers would enjoy.
